Safety & Disclaimers

Safety, plainly.

Viska is a general wellness product. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition — including snoring or sleep apnea. Nothing on this site is medical advice.

Do not use Viska if you:

  • have, or suspect you may have, sleep apnea or any sleep-related breathing disorder
  • cannot breathe comfortably through your nose
  • are congested, have a cold, or have any nasal blockage tonight
  • have consumed alcohol or taken sedatives this evening
  • have broken, irritated, or sensitive skin around your lips
  • are under 18

While using Viska:

  • Remove the strip immediately if you feel short of breath, uneasy, or uncomfortable — it peels off in one motion, and you can part your lips through it with modest effort.
  • Stop use if you experience skin irritation.
  • Single use only — one fresh strip per night.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Talk to your doctor first if you have any respiratory condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether nighttime mouth taping is appropriate for you. If you regularly snore loudly, gasp, or stop breathing in your sleep (ask your partner), please speak to a physician about sleep apnea screening before using any mouth tape — from any brand.
